I have been working with my Australian coach Andrew Argus for about 9 months now but recently there have been some more big changes. Andrews coaching hasn’t changed, but his location and the practice facilities he has available have. Previously based at KDE (Kelab Darul Ehsan) in Ampang it was a bit of a trek in the mornings to get through the traffic from my home in Putrajaya. Andrew and his Impact Elite Golf Academy has now relocated to The Mines Golf Resort, a world class base with fantastic custom built facilities.
The indoor swing studio has been put to very good use this week with the heavy afternoon rain making outdoor practice impossible. Andrew is also in the process of setting up the first GASP (Golf Analysis Systems for Professionals) video analysis studio in Malaysia. Check out www.gaspsystems.com for more information on their services. State of the art high speed video cameras have been installed to allow students to see their swing movements in exact detail. There’s a great chipping, pitching & bunker area alongside a huge putting green for plenty of short game work too! I feel I now have the perfect location to practice and I’m really excited about working on my game under his watchful eye.
Impact Elite Golf Academy offers coaching programs to elite professional and amateur golfers from around the world with the aim of assisting players in reaching their full potential. Many of the regions finest golfers have worked with Andrew and his team over the years and I can only see this number increasing with the new and improved facilities. For more details on how Impact Elite Golf Academy can help you to improve your golf game please contact the team at The Mines Golf Resort (I’ll edit with a phone number as soon as TM have been to install a land line!)
