After Wednesdays round at Thana City we’ve spent the last two days playing and practicing at The Vintage Club and The Royal Golf Club, both cracking courses in Bangkok. A slightly different challenge each day with a mixture of several dogleg tee shots and smaller greens yesterday and super quick greens today. I’ve been hitting the ball quite solidly and rolling the putter really well so preparation is going as planned.
This afternoon Dean and I drove down to Hua Hin to meet up with our good friend Tommy Mansuwan. Having just flown in from the States Tommy is very kindly allowing us to stay at his fathers place in Hua Hin. Check out Tommy’s new blog which he has started in 2012 at tommymansuwan.wordpress.com featuring his Project 365. Each day of the year he’ll be posting a picture from his life playing golf around the globe. It’s a great idea!
I’m going to take it easy over the weekend with just a light bit of practice planned on Saturday & Sunday. I’ll get my first look at Imperial Lakeview on Monday morning alongside my caddy Jim who’s flying in from Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
